Conceived as a result of collective reflection and brought into existence by a group of professional people with responsibilities in Africa, Europe,The United States and Canada who have proved their competence and succeeded in their respective fields, the association Africations is based in Paris and has at his disposal a network of correspondents in the five continents. It intends to take part in all major debates about our society, and to play an active role in the changes being brought about, particularly, in building a new Africa.

Africactions intend channelling initiatives which already exist and to set up others, speeding up the provision of human, material, financial and other resources to realise projects in Africa. In fact, the desire to encourage action in this field must no longer be the prerogative of state bodies which lack the means to invest, or funding organisations without proper knowledge of what it is like on the ground.

Africactions has set itself several objects, in priority to encourage those who are establishing small-scale activities. Its ambition is to provide a substantial contribution to the success of their initial steps, being well aware that financing and banking provisions for these people remains difficult, because banks have little interest in being involved in this work.

Strategically the object of the Association is to support, promote and encourage any project, which participates in the development of the continent of Africa.
